法斗是法国的土狗吗？
是的，法斗（French Bulldog）就是来自法国的犬种。 不过现在提到法斗很多人脑海里想到的是这样： 这样： 还有这样： 实际上，最早期的法斗长相是这样： 当然，现在大部分的法斗都长得像泰迪熊一样，但是早期法斗是非常有个性的。而且颜色也比较丰富，除了白色外，还有棕色、巧克力色和淡奶油色等等： 所以你看，这是不是有点像土狗了哈哈～ 其实很多西方国家的传统犬种，比如西班牙的加纳利犬（Spaniel）、瑞士的比格犬（Bergamasker），甚至美国的水猎犬（Water Spaniel），都是这个“土”样子的。只不过后来这些品种通过繁育逐渐改变了形状，而法斗一直保持了自己的特点。
关于这种“土”的样子，我找了一个专业的解释，来自于J.I.C.A 《The French Bulldog》一书第14页： “The French bulldog as we know it today is a relatively new dog， one that only went through its major changes in the early part of this century. Before then， this breed was considered to be very plain and not particularly attractive...In Europe， the French bulldog was always considered a working dog rather than a pet and looked the part too！ In Great Britain， for example， they were used primarily for riddling（清理内脏）——a job so revolting that the British wouldn't allow their dogs to touch anything that had been inside a human being after death！ Because these dogs were never groomed or washed and rarely taken out of their working environment， they developed into quite an unsightly creature with matted（缠结的）fur and hair all over their face and bodies---exactly like a terrier or a rodent-destroyer. Only when you got up close to them did you see their fascinating eyes and expression， and perhaps the faint whiff of their wonderful perfume. And just like any other working dog， if you didn't feed 'em and love 'em， they would bite your fingers off！” 一个“土”到不行的例子： 电影《巴黎小情歌》里，女主养的法斗Léon，不仅长得“土”，还喜欢偷窥……唉呀，真是可爱到爆啦～
